Rights of Way – footpath closed in Ansford
On 10th April 2026, a timber pedestrian bridge was found to have been vandalised, and as a safety precaution, it has been demolished by Somerset Council's Rights of Way officers. The Right of Way ref no is WN2/4, ref Bridge no 11557, Issue #86244, situated near Torbay Road. Grid ref 363223.132652

Ansford in Bloom 2025
Ansford Councillors are delighted with the colourful plant display at the junction of Ansford Hill & Station Road, and all due to a dedicated team of volunteers from Lovel's Farm, who have kindly provided the plants and will keep them watered. Your support for our community is much appreciated.

There is a map of the main footpaths & bridleways, including Somerset ref. nos., under the Area Information section on our Home page, allowing parishioners to plan a route linking up with neighbouring Parish footpaths. Locations of park benches can be seen on the map.
