VJ80 Day – 15th August 2025

A short service will take place at Ansford's War Memorial, with a two minute silence to reflect on the ending of WW2 and remember the fallen, and the laying of wreaths to mark the anniversary. A similar service at Castle Cary's War Memorial will commence at 11am., and shortly after at Ansford.
