Parish Council Sets Its Budget For 25/26
Very small increase for council tax payers

Ansford Parish Council held a formal meeting of the Full Council on Wed 29th of January 2025 to consider the council’s budget and precept for the 2025-26 municipal year.
The budget (you can download below) was approved, this features money for the long-term replacement of play equipment and funding for projects to improve infrastructure around Ansford.
£6,000 is put aside for supporting local orgrnsions through grant funding.
The budget for keeping open space well maintained was safeguarded, this is for grass cutting, tree works and keeping footpaths clear.
The precept was set at £52,747.00
This is a small increase of 2.01% per Band D household – an extra £1.68 per year – £85.14 per band D household
